I am over 70, but still feel like I am just 7. I love to go dancing with my wonderful husband of almost 40 years.Since we have never earned a lot of money, we have learned to take care of what we have. We live in the mountains in north georgia in a big beautiful house that my husband build and it is mortgage free. Now I am trying to save so my "younger" husband can retire someday.
I don't think so either, but I do think that right now is a good time for your bank to quietly drop its interest rate. Its quiet, and the bank is expecting that if they drop the interest rate .1% or so that no one would notice.
They did not lower the rate again and I don't think they will for a while. The banks are trying for recovery in all ways; lowering you interest on your deposits and not lowering their mortgage rates that much at all. This lending crisis will last for a while.
