smelling cleaner

My house is even smelling cleaner, dh is bleaching the carpet and he is using floral scented bleach.
Yesterday I had a no gas day and I walked a mile, so I have $2 to add to my challenge money.

    Bleaching the carpet. I am confused. Are there lots of stains or do you just want a lighter color carpet?

    We have pure white berber carpet. When he steam cleans it, he mixes bleach with the water and it makes the carpet whiter and takes out any puppy stains. She is well housebroken, but she spits up a lot!!
