What happened to spring??

We have had spring like weather this past week. It has been really nice to have the temp hit 70 this past Sunday. I think the warm weather is ending today. It is already getting cooler this morning. I have enjoyed the week without the heat running very much. Yesterday, it was almost too warm upstairs.
Well, things are changing. I need to walk on the treadmill to warm up.
I got in 2 miles yesterday plus 20 flights of stairs, so that is $3 to add to my challenge money.

    it's still a little springy here in upstate SC. i was in my yard sunday and realized i have DAFFODILS BLOOMING! very weird!

    The snowdrops are popping up their little green selves thru the ice here and I noticed the daffys are also trying to spring forth yet are iced in!

    I told you it was coming!! :-) But it is not supposed to stay.
    All of our pretty buds and blooms got killed by the ice this past weekend!

    Spring? I live in the midwest which is under the grips of ice and snow right now. I had to get a ride to work today with someone else. I could not drive my car all weekend because Saturday it kept dying when I would put it in gear. Monday we could get out because there was too much ice under the car. Last night, I walked 1 1/2 miles to get to a store so I could buy some food. It is still cold out ther, but I think it is starting to look up.
