Rite Aid card

July 24th, 2006 at 07:52 pm

I went to rite aid and got my senior discount card today. They don't advertise it at all. I asked one of the clerks and they told me I could get one in the pharmacy.
It will save me 10% on Tuesdays. I don't buy a lot there, but heck, 10% is 10%. I then went to Ingles and stocked up on some sausage my husband likes, on a bogo. I saved $3 there, plus the $2 I pay myself for walking and 20 flights of stairs. That is $5 to add to my challenge money.
prev. total $9873.00
new total 5.00
total $9878.00

I'd try to get a card but have a feeling that the senior age is over 60 or something so at 50, I doubt I'd qualify for it.

Good job on the $5.00 savings! Smile

Rite Aid has a monthly rebate program that sometimes has some good stock-up deals, including a few free after rebate. Combine that with the 10% off (and a few coupons!) and you may come out ahead!
